How is your success rating these days? Have you generated booming results with your affiliate marketing business?

Whether or not you will take advantage of this information I do not know, and it's beyond my control, but as a network marketer myself and a coach it is my personal goal to help people.

Except for a few exceptions where I had done it, I DO NOT LIKE TO SELL. I do like to present the facts and give you some choice of tools that can and will help you generate booming results in your affiliate marketing business if you were to use them.

This is the major problem with ninety-nine percent of network marketing reps. They are taught to sell their drills, which is their business or products, when nobody cares because they already have one. And let's face it very few people can sell if not in the profession of selling.

The results of this are devastating. People thinking that they were going to get out of the rat race and financial difficulties, end up quitting more indebted then when they started.

If you have been in the network marketing business for more than two years and still not generating affiliate marketing booming results - Stop what you are doing now - and focus your
efforts in the right place.

When I came to this realization, thanks to some knowledgeable millionaires of this industry who
were willing to practice what they preached, everything changed for me. I stopped trying to sell "my drill" and replace it with "how to sell drills" tools for network marketers who have been struggling like I was. Since then, people have been asking me about my drills without me ever to have to tell them.

So again, if you have not generated affiliated marketing booming results yet, it is time to take action in the right direction and you will never have to look back again.

Promoting your products and services online can be a relatively easy task as long as you know the most appropriate tools to use that can help you better connect with your potential clients.

3. Use free advertising tools. It is very possible to promote your products and services without spending a single dime but you will need to spend enormous amount of time and energy to realize your marketing goals. You can use article marketing where you have to produce 5-10 quality articles per day that you need to submit on article directories. You can also do forum posting that will require you to spend a couple of hours everyday socializing with your potential clients on relevant forums. You may also use blogging and ezine publishing.
4. Go with paid advertising tools. If you have the money to spare, you can advertise your offerings using PPC advertising, banner ad, search engine marketing, and paid links. Compare to free advertising tools; this is considered a more aggressive approach in making noise in the online arena as you can make your website and your ads highly visible on search page results instantly.
5. Affiliate marketing. If you don't have the time to promote your products, you may opt to hire numerous marketing affiliates who are usually armed with latest marketing tools and know-how. These people make a living by promoting other people's products in exchange of commissions.

Several months ago, I enrolled one of my companies into the MakeMoneyWithCreditCards affiliate program. The website templates that they provided to us as affiliates were heavily modified to give our affiliate site a unique look and feel, as well as for search engine optimization. Time and resources were spent in the writing of two ebooks designed to market the credit card application services offered through the affiliate program. Thousands of dollars were spent on print advertising to further market the program from the offline angle.

Three months into participation in the affiliate program, I discovered that my affiliate site was no longer responding to my web address. I had parked one of my company’s domain names on the affiliate program’s server so that my affiliate site would have a decent web address, but instead of my company’s affiliate pages being displayed under the address, pages belonging directly to Zen Marketing LLC (which is owned in turn by Electron Interactive, Inc.) were being displayed.

After nearly two weeks of hounding the CEO of Electron Interactive, Inc., Joe Davison, things were “fixed” in the script that drove the affiliate program and my affiliate pages were once more loading under my company’s domain name. I checked my sales stats through the affiliate manager control panel and, just as I expected, I hadn’t earned a dime. How could I when my company’s domain name had been sending credit card applicants directly to Electron Interactive’s account with the credit card companies instead of through my company’s affiliate membership?

A month later, I checked the stats once again. My company had earned a whopping $145 for the credit card applicants that we had generated through the affiliate program. Our marketing efforts were beginning to pay off, even though we were still operating in the red from our marketing expenditures.

It is now late July, 2008. Without notice of any kind to my company as an affiliate, the entire MakeMoneyWithCreditCards.com web site has vanished. There is no way that I can fathom to log into the control panel and request my company’s earnings to be sent to us. Our affiliate web site still loads from the program’s server that it was parked on – all but the template graphics.

In visiting the Electron Interactive web site at electron.com, I have discovered that Joe Davison’s biography and blog have been removed from the site. There is also no more mention of the MakeMoneyWithCreditCards affiliate program on the site, like there once was.

In early June of 2008, I received an email from MakeMoneyWithCreditCards.com indicating that my “new credit card website is live and ready to go at http://webmasterblueaegiscom/ecreditdirectory.com”. In visiting that site only a month later, all that is displayed is a parked domain page.

It appears quite apparent that the MakeMoneyWithCreditCards.com affiliate program was nothing more than a scam perpetrated to generate money for Electron Interactive, Inc. by the efforts of the unwitting affiliate marketers that participated in the program. Should this affiliate program ever raise its tempting head online again, affiliate marketers are given fair warning to approach with caution and invest as little financially as possible in the promotion of the program.

Well, if you already have the aforementioned ‘lot’s of traffic to your site’, all you have to do is post a text link to another site, the affiliate program site, and earn a percentage for every sale which you generate.

And…best of all, the company takes care of all the administrative problems, the credit card charges, the shipping, the inventory….you get the idea. You just refer people to them, they take care of all the rest and cut you a nice hearty check every month. Sounds pretty great, doesn’t it?!

Yes, it can be! But be careful! Getting involved with the “right” affiliate program is your key to making money. (More about that later.)

Making money with an affiliate program is playing the old-fashioned numbers game! Meaning, that out of the people who visit your site you may get a 1% to 20% click-through ratio (this range is so wide because it depends on the product interest, your link to them and the power of their slogans or banners). …that’s the number of people who click through the text link you have provided and actually visit the site you are recommending.

And of those people, only 1% to 2% will really buy. So… “numbers game”! Generating a good income from affiliates programs, requires a large number of visitors to your site or subscribers to your newsletter.

Example. Say you’re getting 1,000 visitors to your site a month and you post your affiliate text link. Just for fun, lets say you get a click through of 5%, which is WAY high.

That means out of your 1,000 visitors, 50 of them go to the affiliate site by clicking through and out of these 50 people probably only ONE will buy…IF THAT! Just because you get 1,000 visitors to your site (that’s YOUR site not the affiliate site you are promoting) that doesn’t mean you will get $500 a month from your affiliate program.

Here’s some more numbers for you. A company with a good affiliate program will have about a 0.5% to 1% visitor to sale ratio. It can sometimes be better than that (and often many time worse, especially if you hook up with the wrong company!), but that is the average. So for every 100 to 200 visitors you send them, only one will purchase.

Whoa! Doesn’t look quite so great now!

That’s okay, this is the reality and you have to be realistic about your online endeavors. If you think everything is just going to fall into your lap, you’ll be easily disappointed and end up quitting before you even get close to succeeding.
